Snipe Fleet 532 is excited to announce that registration is open for the Inaugural DickC Cup A/B Regatta on August 19-20 at SSA. This event will be run “college-style” with 2 teams sailing one boat, short course racing, with rotations off the SSA docks. The idea is to grab a Snipe Fleet Alum who hasn’t been in the boat for a while or grab a friend who you’d like to introduce to the Snipe Fleet to be your B Team! The best combined scores of the A and B team will be awarded 1st-3rd place DickC Cup Team trophies.
Since it will also be the SSA Summer Series for the A Teams, the registration for the A and B teams will be handled separately:

This regatta is to honor DickC Bartlett who passed last year and the ripe young age of 100. DickC was a fixture in the Snipe Class and always supported the Fleet’s events. DickC was all about the fun and at the 100th Birthday party he threw for himself in 2022 it was so fun to see all the Snipe Fleet alums from the 1980’s, ’90’s and ’00’s that we thought this event would be the best way to keep his legacy alive. Rumor has it Jonathan Bartlett has already been recruited to sail!
