CBYRA has just approved our grant for them to be the Video Sponsor of the 2021 US Nationals! A fantastic group of “Snipe Alumni” has also really stepped up to help us provide a regatta to remember. Together, they make the largest donation funding pool for us! Big thanks to Phil Richmond for his contributions and leading the charge. Mark Hasslinger (who is also serving as our SCIRA Rep), Eric Purdon, and DickC Bartlett are a part of this esteemed group as well as Keith Donald who is also providing VIP Spectating from his 37′ Beneteau during the event. Musto Annapolis and Hammer Nutrition have both come through with awesome gifts for competitors as part of the registration swag bag. Musto will also have a tent at the event selling cool gear on the first day. Look for the half-page ad in SpinSheet Magazine’s May edition which was donated to our event. Bread & Butter Kitchen (a great place to order your crew lunch from) will be providing scones for breakfast the first day of racing. Several businesses have donated great items for our raffle: Fawcett Boat Supply will be donating gift cards, Hug Me Designs is designing a special “Hug Me I’m a Snipe Sailor” t-shirts for raffle and purchase. Regatta Merchandise will be set up on a special website managed by long-time Snipe sailors Lorie & Alex Stout of StoutGear. Each competitor will be given a $10 coupon code ($20 per boat) that will get you a free t-shirt or you can apply the credit towards tech shirts, polo shirts, hats, etc. You will need to order by the “Early Bird” date of May 23rd to receive your swag on-site, but you can have your merchandise sent directly to you if you order within a week after the regatta ends.
