Congrats to Carter Cameron/Izzy Fadullon for their win in the SSA Summer Series! The “Light Air O’Hares” crushed it on Saturday with a 1-1-2, but couldn’t sail on Sunday. Carter Cameron/Izzy Fadullon took advantage and posted 3 wins on Sunday to beat Evan Hoffman/Bianca Mesa by one point for the overall regatta. Thanks to Lee Griffith for traveling down – he took 3rd with Annapolis’ newest resident Nikki Bruno, posting a win on in the last race on Saturday. Despite the heat, there was sailable, remarkably consistent breeze both days and once on shore with a drink in hand in the shade of the awnings on the top deck, the socially distant vibe was excellent. It was also great to meet new SSA members that included many new faces for the Snipe fleet at the New Member Orientation Saturday evening.
