2020 Colonial Cup: Something Different but Kinda the Same
Annapolis Snipe Fleet 532 and Severn Sailing Association served up a very competitive regatta with some interesting and challenging sailing conditions for the 2020 Snipe Colonial Cup Regatta. The regatta format was altered this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but despite all of the differences, the usual teams assumed the top spots on the scoresheet.
Celebrating 45 Years of Colonial Cups
The Snipe Colonial Cup turn 45 years old this year. There have been all kinds of iterations of the event from purely local fleet racing to worlds qualifiers to combined regattas to socially distanced-during-a-pandemic style, but the Colonial Cup has always provided top competition in the Snipe. This 40 year old gem from the Annapolis Capital on June 9, 1980 is no different!
TESOD goes “Weekend” in June! Call it “COSOD” :)
